Beautiful comfortable, clean rooms, some with patio. Friendly staff and - how wonderful! - an honesty policy for food/drink purchases. Cafe serves delicious food, brought to you by the happiest lady ever. Wonderful gardens with childrens ...

The word ‘hostel’ doesn’t do this place justice. Longstone is a lovely, clean & friendly place to stay. We had a twin room with a lovely outdoor balcony area. The staff are absolutely wonderful, the facilities great & a huge outdoor space ...

There are three parts to this review:- (1) Visited Sept 25, 2024, for coffee and cake on a circular walk from Hugh Town, Holy Vale, Higher Moor and Old Town. Large selection of cakes, many of which were gluten free, nice coffee and outstanding service. So good to find excellent GF cakes. Ordered their lobster meal to be delivered to our apartment in town on Friday. (2) Sept 27, our pre-ordered lobster meal, including a desert, was delivered to our accommodation. Excellent! (3) Sept 29 visited for lunch. Excellent! In summary, outstanding food and service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Longstone Lodge. The rooms are simple and clean with well-functioning bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. It was convenient having a mini-frig and hot pot in our room. We enjoyed sitting on our deck ...

What a gorgeous place. We had the pleasure of staying in Ashore ( one of the self catering apartments) for a week. Lovely place - and such a sweet team. If you stay get the lobster Friday night dinner ( incredible), we also had croissants on the weekend and the best coffee. A wonderful spot. Hope to return. Thank you team Gemma, Becky & Evie

If I could give this place 6 stars on service, I absolutely would. The lodge is lovely. Clean, great location, lots of facilities including a great kitchen set up, private balconies, an honesty shop and a cafe. But the people are stellar. Everyone I spoke to was a delight, and you could see how much they loved their place in how they were dancing in the kitchen when no one was watching. They were super helpful and got me breakfast before the cafe had opened and even got their electrician to take my phone (which I had foolishly forgotten) down into Hugh Town to me so I wouldn't miss the boat. I booked this place last minute as all the Hugh Town places were booked, but I completely lucked out and would base myself here for future trips. Thank you so much And did I mention the cake! ....... I didn't take many photos of the lodge so some are just the beautiful islands and the dark sky

Stepping in is like finding a warm hug on a chilly day. The aroma of freshly ground beans hits you instantly, a comforting prelude to the excellent coffee they serve. The baristas are genuinely friendly, not just going through the motions, but taking the time to chat and remember your order. It's that personal touch that sets them apart. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of lively buzz and quiet corners, making it ideal whether you're catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a solitary moment. Their pastries and cakes are always fresh, and they often feature local bakers, which is a lovely touch. The quality of the coffee itself is consistently high, from their expertly crafted lattes to their rich, robust espressos. More than just a place to grab a caffeine fix, [Coffee Shop Name] is a community hub, a place where you feel welcome and valued. It's a true local gem. Edit- I really loved it

A slightly hidden gem, 20 minutes walk from Hugh Town but well worth the effort. Lovely menu, delicious homemade cakes. I'm going to stick my neck out and say they have the best scones I've ever tasted. The savories are equally tasty.Good value for money, service with a smile and pretty rapid. Gardens are spacious and beautiful with play facilities for children. Indoors is light and airy.
